I’m a British Army veteran, and gallantry award holder. I love to read about history, and in particular the Second World War. I hail from the village of Elsecar in South Yorkshire and I am currently writing a World War II novel titled "Elsecar Boys We Are Here," which chronicles the lives of five brothers. You’ll get to meet the Dawbers, all fictional characters, living out the timelines of the 30s, through to the end of the war, in 1945.
